At Transport for Greater Manchester, we are seeking to appoint a HR Assistant to join our team.  The role of HR Assistant will provide a comprehensive administration service across the whole employee lifecycle – this is a varied role supporting a range of activities. Each day will be different, you will be responsible for , managing the HR / payroll deadline activities, updating the HR system, producing high quality employee changes letters as well as supporting our Wellbeing Specialist and HR Partners with things such as note taking on casework and scheduling job evaluation panels.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for providing a quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. A key attribute of the successful candidate will be high attention to detail, a customer centric approach and experience of working with sensitive and confidential data.

 

To be a success in this role, we are looking for candidates with previous administration experience and proven experience of using a range of MS packages. In this role you will be working alongside a number of HR professionals, providing you with exposure to a range of HR related activities, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into HR or wanting to gain further HR exposure.

The salary range for this role is £21,797 - £23,578.  Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
