Transport for Greater Manchester is seeking a driven part or qualified Accountant to support the business through a significant period of change. As well as our more traditional transport construction projects and programmes, such as Metrolink, we are now delivering a range of emerging priorities.

In this role you will provide financial analysis which will aid decisions in relation to projects. You will also be the first point of contact for finance in your areas of responsibility, partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You will have full ownership of financial reporting for your areas of responsibility.

You will have experience of capital and/or revenue project financial management and experience of working with integrated Management Information Systems. You will also have worked with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

 

 TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information to make travel easier for everyone.  This is a busy and exciting time for Transport for Greater Manchester.  Under the devolution agreements and with the Mayor placing Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in supporting post-Covid recovery, sustainable economic growth and access to opportunities in the UK’s largest regional economy outside of London.

The salary range for this role is £34,899 - £39,279 per annum.  Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
