Transport for Greater Manchester has a diverse fleet that supports a variety services across Greater Manchester, this comprises of 98 buses that operate on a number of subsidised services including Yellow School Buses and 30 ancillary vehicles that support various operational areas.

 

We’re looking for a Fleet Manager to manage TfGM’s road transport fleet to ensure the most cost effective use of resources and to ensure that vehicles are operated to comply with all associated legal regulations. You’ll manage a fleet that includes hybrid and battery electric vehicles, dealing with planned and unplanned maintenance, refurbishment, disposal and procurement of new mobility solutions.

 

You will have experience in vehicle maintenance and management, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver planned activities to the required timescales. You will be self-motivated with a desire to achieve results. You will also have excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and without close supervision.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract with a salary of £41,670 - £46,901 per annum. We also offer a range of fantastic benefits, such as:
